Job Description:

Overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of SAP solutions throughout a company is a common responsibility of the SAP Technology Center of Excellence (COE) position.

The SAP Technology COE Lead is in charge of offering leadership, support, and expert-level direction for the enterprise-wide deployment, optimization, and upkeep of SAP technologies. Driving the strategic direction of SAP platforms, making sure they satisfy business needs, improving SAP capabilities, and assisting with continuous improvement projects will be the main responsibilities of the position.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

• Experience of at least two years is required.
• Capacity to work on S/4HANA and ECC projects for clients worldwide
• At least one deployment or implementation experience
• well-versed in all RICEF objects in core ABAP, such as the Data Dictionary, various reports and programs, enhancements, forms (including Adobe, Smart, and SAP scripts), and interfaces (BAPIs and IDOCs).
• Capacity to work on HANA projects using ABAP
• Capacity to quickly acquire specialized skills and upskill
• Capacity to communicate with functional consultants, comprehend business needs, and translate them into technology solutions
• Capacity to compose intricate technological designs

• Strong knowledge of SAP best practices and coding standards from both ECC and HANA
• Capacity to guide and support a group of four junior developers
• Capacity to work quickly

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• SAP certification(s) (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP BASIS, etc.) preferred.

Experience:

• At least five to seven years of experience with SAP technologies, with an emphasis on SAP development, architecture, and implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or manage SAP teams in a Center of Excellence (COE) setting.
• strong background in SAP Cloud, SAP Fiori, and SAP S/4HANA implementation and support.
• familiarity in integrating SAP with older systems and third-party apps.

Technical Skills:

• strong familiarity with SAP Cloud Infrastructure, SAP Basis, and SAP Security.
• practical knowledge of SAP PI/PO, Fiori, S/4HANA, SAP ERP, and other relevant technologies.
• familiarity with SAP development tools, including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP HANA Cloud Platform, and ABAP.
• competence in SAP environment troubleshooting, performance tweaking, and system integration.
