Roles & Responsibilities:

Azure Purview Management:

• Manage and set up Azure Purview services to guarantee peak performance.
• Apply lineage, categorization, and data discovery across several data sources.
• Utilize Azure Purview to manage data catalogs and metadata.

Data Governance:

• Create and implement policies and processes for data governance.
• Verify adherence to data protection laws and guidelines.
• Work together with data stewards and owners to preserve the integrity and quality of the data.

Integration & Automation:

• Connect Azure Purview to additional platforms and tools for data management.
• Knowledge about Purview Workflow Automation
• familiarity with Purview Atlas APIs
• Understanding how to use Purview Private endpoints to integrate Purview with different external sources
• Basic knowledge of Azure networking is essential.
• Use Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, or other solutions to automate data governance and cataloguing procedures.

Monitoring & Reporting:

• Track Azure Purview’s usage and performance indicators.
• Create and deliver reports on data governance and cataloging tasks on a regular basis.

Support & Troubleshooting:

• Offer technical assistance for problems relating to Azure Purview.
• Investigate and fix issues as soon as possible to guarantee the least amount of disturbance.

Training & Documentation:

• Create and keep up-to-date documentation for Azure Purview procedures.
• Teach stakeholders and internal teams how to use Azure Purview efficiently.

Security and Access Control:

• Make sure that only authorized users have access to sensitive data by managing user access roles and permissions.
• Manage and audit user activity to make sure that the organization’s data security and privacy policies are being followed.
• Establish and implement secure data governance procedures in collaboration with security teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

• working with Azure Purview or a comparable data governance product for at least two years.

• knowledge of cloud computing systems such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.

Certifications:
