Eligibility Criteria (post wise):
1. Data engineer/data scientist (DIT) :
- A master’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, or data science, as well as a BE, B.Tech, or MCA in a relevant field, are necessary.
- Experience: at least 4 to 7 years of experience (post-specific) in financial institutions, analytics or data.
- Age restrictions: 25 to 40.
2. Cybersecurity Specialist, IT Security Specialist, and System and Network Administrator
- Qualifications: CS/IT/Electronics BE, B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, and M.Tech
- At least 5 years of experience in system or network administration, auditing, SOC, or IT security.
- Age Limit: 27-40 years.
3. AI and machine learning Experts:
- Qualification: A CS/IT/Maths/Statistics degree with a concentration on AI/ML
- Experience: at least 7 years in designing and deploying AI/ML models.
- Age Limit: 27-40 years.
4.Project Manager (Premises Department):
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Experience: at least 5 years of experience in project management or construction.
- Age range: 21–40 years old
5.Credit, market, liquidity, and risk analysts:
- A master’s degree in statistics, finance, or economics, as well as a finance MBA, are necessary.
- 3 to 7 years’ experience working with banks, NBFCs, or other financial firms.
- Age limit (post-wise): 30-45 years old.
6.Accounting and banking domain experts
- Qualifications: background in economics, MBA in finance, CA or ICWA
- Experience: at least 5 to 7 years of experience in finance or banking.
- Age Restrictions: 28 to 45.
7.Coordinator of the Program (College of Supervisors)
- Requirement: postgraduate degree in finance or economics (PhD preferable).
- 10 to 15 years of experience in banking or education.

Application fee

RBI Lateral Recruitment salaries 2025
1. A fixed monthly pay for every individual
- Level 3 (equivalent to a grade C) : Total monthly salary: ₹3,10,000.
- Level 4 is equivalent to Grade D : Monthly salary: ₹4,30,000.
- Level 5 (Same as Grade E) : Total monthly salary: ₹4,80,000.
- More allowances: The amount of the housing allowance will be determined by the criteria in effect at the posting location.
- According to current income tax rules, the entire monthly wage is taxed at the source (TDS).
2. Setting the first salary (by negotiation)
- After communicating with the selected individual, the Selection Committee may decide to offer them a higher starting consolidated wage.
- The allowed monthly compensation range for each level is as follows:
- Level 3: ₹3,10,000–₹4,10,000.
- Level 4: ₹4,30,000–₹5,10,000.
- Level 5: ₹4,80,000–₹6,00,000
- The Selection Committee’s decision will be final, and no requests for further compensation will be considered.
3. Policy on annual increases
- After each 12-month service period, the consolidated monthly wage (without the housing allowance) will increase by 7%.
- This annual rise will apply during:
- The duration of the initial contract
- Any agreed-upon contract extension.
- The RBI’s policies shall govern the increment policy, which may vary from time to time.
